"THERE’s
one place in the world that can make children smile endlessly and that place is
none other than Disneyland! But your trip will not be magical enough if you
miss out on the fun at Disney Hollywood Hotel.
My
holiday at Hong Kong Disneyland is turning out to be the best trip I have ever
had — it really brings out the child in me. The chance to stay at one of the
Disney hotels adds to the charm!
The
beautiful cream and baby blue building with gold Mickey logos stand before me.
The hotel chauffeur greets me with a welcoming smile at the doorstep and
insists on helping me with my luggage. The hotel is not as posh as I imagined.
It’s simple and is a great place for family vacations.
It
has pictures of Disney characters everywhere which can make any child happy.
MICKEY SAYS HELLO
My
spacious room with two single beds has a view of the beautifully manicured
garden. Everything in the room has a touch of the famous cartoon characters.
Mickey and Minnie posters hang on the bedroom wall, Mickey is seen smiling on a
tumbler, and there’s even a 24-hour Mickey channel on TV.
I
feel like a kid again, watching classic Disney cartoons well into the night. To
avoid over–sleeping, I request for a morning wake-up call.
To
my surprise, I not only get a wake-up call at 7am but I also get to hear the
voice of a very special “person” at the other end. It’s Mickey on the line! You
definitely can’t get that anywhere else.
PIANO
POOL AND HOLLYWOOD PARK
The
hotel is not all brick and mortar. It has a beautiful park where you walk under
shady trees and sit on a Mickey bench. At the end of the park you’ll see the
familiar Hollywood Hotel sign, similar to that in Hollywood! A great place for
photo opportunities.
The
swimming pool has a whimsical piano shape with a water slide built into a rock
where several “hidden Mickeys” lie waiting. Young “detectives” will have a
whale of a time here trying to spot a Mickey.
There’s
also a relaxing whirlpool where you can rejuvenate after a fun day at the park.
You can have snacks at the bowl-shaped bar located adjacent to the swimming
pool. It offers a selection of cooling tropical drinks to complement a fun-day
outdoors.
DINE WITH DISNEY CHARACTERS
Enjoy
breakfast at one of the Disney-themed restaurants, the Chef Mickey. The chefs
here show off their culinary magic by whipping up delicious dishes in the shape
of Mickey Mouse. Chef Mickey Restaurant offers Cantonese meals as well as Asian
and international specialties.
While
dining, you can meet Mickey Mouse. Don’t forget your camera for capturing your
special moments.
You
can also go to the Enchanted Garden Restaurant at the Hong Kong Disneyland
Hotel next door where you can enjoy a fabulous international buffet in the
company of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto."
Rasa teruja tak?....teruja kan....hehehe...
So, sesape yg nak pegi tu, tolong ye...tolong kirim salam kat Cinderella ke, Snow White ke...or Donald Duck, ok jugak?.....suka....suka...suka...hehehe...
